What is this mysterious club, you say? The Role Play Chat Club (RPCC)is a chat group founded by ~WynDSkaunt where deviants can chat directly with their favorite movie, comics, TV, and book characters. Sound interesting? Read on, friend, read on!
To begin chatting anonymously* (through your main dA account), one has only to click on the following link (currently under construction), where you can select the character you wish to contact. You will be directed to that character's dA page, where you can note them, comment on anything, and invite them to chat, just like any other deviant. Get it? Good.
To begin Role Play Chatting as a character (well, yeah, we can't ACTUALLY connect you to Mulan, duh. This is a Role Play club, all characters will be played by real deviants!), send a note to either ~WynDSkaunt or ~violetbeefstick, the club's Administrators, stating the character you want to play as. Simple as that.
Of course, characters can chat with other characters. Imagine the possibilities: L, Captain Hook, and Doctor Who all in one chat room! Ready to get chatting? If you plan to claim a character, please read the following rules and regulations while setting up your account.
***RULES OF RPCC-- Character Accounts and Conduct***
1.) GETTING STARTED. Send a note to Admins ~WynDSkaunt or ~violetbeefstick naming the character you wish you RP as. They will send a note back giving you the OK. Please keep in mind that the character you choose may already be in use by someone else, so please have a backup.
2.) When an Admin has approved your request, you can begin setting up your account!
A) Usernames-- Your username will be "RPCC" followed by a dash and your character name. For example, Elizabeth Swann would be RPCC-ElizabethSwann. *PLEASE ONLY PLAY AS ONE CHARACTER AT A TIME.* For safety purposes, Admin needs to know the password to your character's account. That way, if your are violating some rule and do not respond to their requests, they can remove the offensive material, or in an extreme case, delete the account entirely. Don't let it happen to you. Be good.
B) Tag Lines-- Your tag line must state your main dA account name. Example: username RPCC-ElizabethSwann, tag line "Played by Jane Doe."
C) Deviant ID-- Your ID picture can be any image of your character. The bio section of your ID can contain a breif bio of you character. Remember that on this account you ARE this character, talk like they would!
3.) UPLOADING AND POSTING. You are free to post and write whatever you want on this account, as long as it pertains to your character in some way. Elizabeth Swann would not journal about the suffering stock market. She would not upload pictures of her and her cousin at the Red Robin. Save that stuff for your main dA account, not your character's.
4.) RACY JUNK. Please keep public chatting content on a PG-13 level. If you REALLY want to talk smut with Ichabod Crane, you can do so through notes or in a private chat room. Be classy.
5.) DELETING YOUR CHARACTER'S ACCOUNT. If you want to change to another character, or simply want to quit chatting (WHY?!), please send a note to an Admin so that character can be added to the up-for-grabs list. Then delete... *sob!*

Until then, link this journal to your friends and watchers, copy-paste it into your own journal, claim yourself a character, and get chatting!
*All rules of conduct also apply to anonymous chatters using their main dA accounts.
