Once upon a time, there was a princess whose family had very little money, because they had been kicked out of their country in some war or something but thats not the point. The king had split a long time ago, so it was just the Queen and the Princess. They were a happy little family, and the princess went to school and the queen went to work, and all was well.
One day the princess got a letter from her father, the king. He had moved to Hollywood, and had gotten a good job in the publishing business. So, she went to visit her father. He had some close friend in the music industry, and so they went to see a band that one of his friends had recorded. The Princess was captivated by their music. It was a terrific mix of blues, indie, and rock. She loved it, and asked the kings friend if he could introduce her to the band. He said Yes, of course, and took her backstage of the venue.
The band was very nice. There was the singer, who had lovely hair and a great sense of humor, the bassist, who was quite handsome and drank a lot of beer, and the guitarist, who was shy and didn't say much. And finally, the drummer. He was very polite, and was very handsome, in a unique sort of way. He shook hands with the princess, and as they looked into one an others eyes to say what a pleasure it was to meet the other (because thats the polite way to do it), they each felt something in their stomach flutter, and something in their brains click, and something in their armpits start to excrete.
Blushing, they let go of each others hands, and joined in the conversation the others were having (it was on whether or not the "classics" were worth reading. Most decided that it depended on the classic, and that Jane Austen was rubbish.) Eventually, some of the roadies joined them, and some of the other bands that had played that night, and it became a right little party. When people started getting hungry, the Princess volunteered to go get burgers, and the drummer nervously volunteered to go with her.         
On the way to the burger place,(called Astroburger), the drummer and the princess talked a lot, and got to know one another very well. When they got back they were chatting like old buddies, and didn't stop until very late at night, when the party had died down and the ing said that he wanted to go home, because he was an old man and couldn't party like he used to. The drummer and princess exchanged email address' and promised to keep in touch.
And that they did. They emailed, they sent snail mail, they Skyped, they friended each other on Facebook AND MySpace, and once they even used carrier pigeons for a lark. But soon, the drummer and the band were on tour again, and the Princess had a chance to see her beloved pen pal again. So he set her up with a VIP badge, and she went to their concert.
